Harmony Rehabilitation Services
Restoring the Spirit as Well as the Body
This is a place where independence is regained and the quality of life restored. Where the single focus of our rehabilitation team is to help you recover the strength you’ll need and provide you with the tools you’ll use to leave Harmony and return to the familiar, comfortable environment of home and family and friends.
To accomplish that mission our physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapists will assess your needs and develop, along with your doctor, an individualized treatment program that meets your specific recovery goals. Whatever your age, whether your need arises from illness or injury, and whether your stay is short-term or long, our therapists have the patience and determination to help you reach the highest level of independence you can achieve.

Respiratory Therapist
Harmony’s Medical Specialty Unit takes a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation that includes 24/7 respiratory care. Our respiratory therapists perform regular assessments of both patients and equipment. They treat patients by using oxygen and oxygen mixtures and by performing chest physiotherapy. And they connect patients who cannot breath independently to ventilators and teach patients who can how to use the equipment on their own so they can more easily regain a sense of independence.
During Your Stay
While you’re with us, your days will be filled with much more than your therapy sessions. To make your days as meaningful and pleasant as possible, our Activities Department keeps residents involved throughout the day with a wide variety of activities that include art, music, movies, gardening and visits from pet friends.
